Have you ever noticed how much easier it is to serve others when you've taken time to care for yourself? Not because life is suddenly easier. Not because every problem disappears. But because you've intentionally prepared your body and mind for the work God has placed before you.
At Ezekiel's Garden, we believe that caring for our health isn't vanity—it's stewardship.
Scripture reminds us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). They are gifts from God, entrusted to us for His purposes. While our strength ultimately comes from the Lord, the daily choices we make to nourish our bodies can help us faithfully serve Him with the energy, focus, and endurance He provides. That's the heart behind Steeped in Strength. This carefully crafted herbal blend combines chicory root, lemongrass, hibiscus, coriander seed, ginger root, and orange peel into a vibrant cup that supports everyday wellness while reminding us where our true strength is found.
God's Creation in Every Cup
Every ingredient was chosen with both flavor and traditional wellness in mind.
Chicory Root has been enjoyed for generations as a naturally roasted herbal ingredient. It contains inulin, a prebiotic fiber that nourishes beneficial gut bacteria and supports healthy digestion.
Lemongrass offers a crisp citrus flavor along with naturally occurring plant compounds that provide antioxidant support and create an uplifting aroma.
Hibiscus gives this tea its beautiful deep red color while supplying naturally occurring antioxidants that help protect cells from oxidative stress. Its bright, tart flavor makes every cup refreshing.
Ginger Root has long been appreciated for supporting healthy digestion, promoting everyday stomach comfort, and adding a naturally warming quality to herbal teas.
Coriander Seed has traditionally been used to support digestive wellness and contributes a smooth, earthy balance that complements the brighter citrus notes.
Orange Peel finishes the blend with a naturally sweet citrus flavor while providing additional antioxidant-rich plant compounds that make each sip both refreshing and comforting.
Together, these botanicals create a flavorful herbal tea that supports healthy digestion, encourages hydration, provides antioxidant-rich plant compounds, and offers a comforting daily wellness ritual.
Health Is a Biblical Responsibility
Our culture often treats health as something we pursue only when something goes wrong.
Scripture paints a different picture.
Throughout the Bible, God provided His people with rhythms of rest, nourishing food, physical activity, Sabbath, and stewardship. He designed our bodies with incredible wisdom and entrusted them to our care.
Taking care of our health isn't about chasing perfection or trying to earn God's approval.
It's about honoring the Creator by wisely caring for His creation.
When we nourish our bodies, prioritize rest, move with purpose, and spend time with the Lord, we're better prepared to serve our families, encourage our communities, fulfill our callings, and love others well.
Not because our wellness gives us strength—
But because healthy habits help position us to faithfully use the strength God provides.
Steeped in Strength
As this tea steeps, let it remind you that God often strengthens us the same way.
Patiently.
Faithfully.
One day at a time.
He doesn't always remove every burden.
Instead, He walks beside us, providing grace for today and strength for tomorrow.
Isaiah 40:31 reminds us:
"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
Our hope isn't in herbs.
Our hope isn't in routines.
Our hope isn't even in our own discipline.
Our hope is in the God who created every root, leaf, flower, and seed—and who lovingly created us, too.
So brew a cup.
Open your Bible.
Take a deep breath.
Let the warmth remind you that caring for your body and abiding in Christ are not competing priorities. They work together as part of a life lived with intention.
Because when we faithfully steward the bodies God has entrusted to us, we're better prepared to love, serve, encourage, and fulfill the purpose He has placed before us.
Steeped in Strength is more than a tea.
It's a daily reminder to nourish your body, renew your mind, and trust the Lord who is the true source of your strength.
"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." — Psalm 46:1
