“Blessed is she who believed that the Lord would fulfill His promises to her.” — Luke 1:45

Luke 1:45 is more than a comforting verse—it’s a call to action. Elizabeth’s words to Mary remind us that blessing follows belief, and belief is proven through discipline. Faith isn’t just what we feel in inspired moments; it’s what we practice when showing up feels ordinary, inconvenient, or unseen.
At Ezekiel’s Garden, this scripture grounds our calling. We believe God fulfills His promises—but we also understand that belief is lived out through daily obedience. Discipline is the bridge between promise and fulfillment.
Faith That Shows Up Daily
Mary’s blessing didn’t come from having all the details. It came from trusting God enough to say yes and to keep walking it out. In the same way, we use Luke 1:45 as a reminder that our calling isn’t fulfilled in one big moment—it’s fulfilled in small, faithful steps.
That looks like:
Choosing integrity when no one is watching
Preparing with excellence, even on slow days
Serving customers with kindness and purpose
Staying consistent when results aren’t immediate
Discipline is faith with work boots on. 🥾
Discipline Aligns Us With God’s Promises
Discipline often gets a bad reputation, but biblically, it’s an act of love. It’s how we align our habits with what we say we believe. When we steward our time, energy, resources, and attitudes well, we make room for God to do what only He can do. To be clear, you don't need works or acts to get into Heaven. On the contrary, you need only to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. However, once you accept Him into your life, the desire to follow Him in your disciplines comes naturally. It takes work and intention, but His promises prevail.
At the store, discipline looks like being intentional—about how we show up, how we speak, how we create, and how we serve. We aren’t just running a business; we’re cultivating a space rooted in faith, wellness, and purpose. That requires consistency, prayer, preparation, and trust.
Using Luke 1:45 to Fulfill Our Calling
Luke 1:45 reminds us that God’s promises are not empty words—but belief activates them. Every time we choose discipline over distraction, faith over fear, and obedience over comfort, we are partnering with God in the fulfillment of His promises.
Our calling isn’t just about what we sell—it’s about how we live out our faith in the process. We believe God uses disciplined faith to grow what He has planted.
If you’re in a season where your calling feels slow, quiet, or demanding, take heart. Blessed are those who believe—and keep believing enough to show up, stay faithful, and do the work with purpose.
🌱 Keep believing. Keep tending. Keep showing up.God is faithful to fulfill what He has promised.
